  • How long will the class be?
    Our Women's Self-Defense Seminar is a 60-minute session packed with practical defensive techniques and fitness exercises. After the main class, there will be additional time dedicated to Q&A and review, allowing participants to ask questions, clarify techniques, and ensure they leave with a solid understanding of what they have learned.
  • Where will this class take place?
    The classes will be held at the IMA building on Saturday Oct. 26th Mat room B Intramural Activities Building (IMA) 3924 Montlake Blvd NE, Seattle, WA 98195
  • What can I expect from class?
    Expect a high-energy, interactive session that focuses on practical self-defense techniques and fitness exercises. You will learn how to recognize and avoid potential threats, practice effective defensive moves, and build the muscle memory needed for instinctive reactions. Be prepared to engage in scenarios that simulate real-life situations and train alongside other women in a supportive environment.
  • Is class good for beginners?
    Yes, the class is designed to be accessible for all skill levels, including beginners. Our professional instructors will guide you through each technique step-by-step, ensuring that you understand and can execute the movements safely and effectively. No prior experience is necessary.
  • What do I need to bring?
    Participants should bring comfortable workout attire, a water bottle, and a positive attitude. All other equipment necessary for the class will be provided. It’s important to wear clothes that allow for a full range of motion, as you will be practicing various defensive techniques and fitness exercises.
  • Is there an age limit for the class?
    The seminar is designed for adult women of all ages. If you are under 18, we require parental consent for participation. The techniques taught are practical and suitable for women of all ages and fitness levels.
